Seriously – where the hell did that title come from?
See the About Origami out of a Refrigerator page.

And who the hell are you?
I’m Amanda. Nice to meet you. For more information about me, see the About Amanda page.

Okay. What’s a polymath?
You don’t know how to use Wikipedia?

Smartass.
And damn proud of it.

What’s with the bit about the Hokey Pokey?
“You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around…” (Can’t take credit for that one – it was based on this t-shirt.)

Is that the inside of your fridge?
Yes.

Did you make the origami crane?
Yes, and I am embarrassed at how many attempts it took. I used to make them all the time in high school, when I was bored in class – I didn’t even have to think about it. Now I had to go look up the instructions.

What kind of stuff do you write about?
What I’m reading. My adventures in the kitchen (I bake, and I’m improving my cooking). Commutes on the T that just make me want to start smacking people. My frustrations with the Republican Party and/or Fox News. Television. Theatre. Singing. Yankees baseball.  Random, bizarre things that I think about (like the immigration issues the MLB and NHL must have to deal with). Just about anything goes, as long as it’s something I wouldn’t mind my mother or a prospective employer reading.

Are you on Facebook?
Me personally? Yes. But unless you are an actual friend of mine, we are not going to be Facebook friends. Does Origami out of a Refrigerator have a Facebook page? No/not yet – if you think there should be one, so you can Like it and promote it and get other people to read it and Like it, then let me know. I’m all for having fans.

Are you on Twitter?
I’m not much of a Twitter fan – my attention span is too long for only 140 characters. However, I actually am on Twitter (though I barely use it), and having an Origami out of a Refrigerator Twitter feed in the future is something I am considering.

I have a question you haven’t answered.
Then leave a comment or e-mail me at origamioutofarefrigerator at gmail dot com.
